Ingredients:
700 gr of chicken fillet (chicken leg)
2 onions chopped in slices
2 garlic cloves
4 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon of cloves (ground)
Cayenne pepper
4 allspice seeds
1 glass of water
1 pinch of sugar
200 gr of grated cheese (kefalotyri)
200 gr of tomato sauce
Preparation:
Boil the pasta (tubular pasta for pastitsio No 3) and use a colander to drain the water. In a saucepan pour the olive oil, the onions, the garlic, the chicken and all the herbs until they come to a boil. Then add the tomato sauce, the water and the sugar to boil all together for ½ hour approximately. Place the pasta on a dish and pour the mixture on top. At the end add the cheese. Oven cook for 15 minutes.
