Ingredients:
1pack of barley shaped pasta (kritharaki)
1 kilo of beef in small pieces
6 tomatoes
2 onions
Allspice (ground), Cinnamon, salt, pepper
Olive oil
Preparation:
Wash the tomatoes and chop. Also chop the onions. In a large casserole (gastra) place the tomatoes, onions, the meat and the herbs, a drop of olive oil and a glass of water. Bake in the oven for 1 hour approximately at 250 C. As soon as the meat is browned add 3 glasses of hot water, the pasta and a bit more olive oil and continue cooking until the pasta has boiled and the juices have been absorbed. When serving sprinkle with grated cheese.
