Marmari

Marmari is 15 kilometres west of Kos town (at the northern coast of the island) and 4 kilometres north of the scenic inland village Pili. Its long and sandy beach is very popular and attracts many visitors because it is nice, very close to the town of Kos, it is in a beautiful environment and is well organ¬ized with umbrellas, sun beds, lots of water sports facilities and off course a lot of swimming sunbathing and sand games. The several beach traditional taverns and cafes offer snacks and cool refreshments but also a full meal.
There are a lot of hotel units in the area that makes accommodation very easy. Health services and a Police Station are available at Pili very close. (4 kilometres to the South of the beach). Access to Marmari is very easy (15 kilometres) by bus, with frequent service, by taxi, by car and motorbike. If you have a yacht, you may reach the Marmari beach by sea and use the little port for tripping at the beautiful islands around.
